Attention Values are associated with atoms in the AtomSpace. They have three components.
Short Term Importance
( abbrev. STI. )
This indicates the immediate expected utility of this atom. Those that are above the Attentional Focus boundary.
Long Term Importance
( abbrev. LTI )
The long term usefulness of keeping the atom around.
Very Long Term Importance
( abbrev. VLTI )
A flag that can prevent atoms from ever being forgotten by Attention Allocation.
